Challenge: Rem d.o.o., a manufacturer of modular prefabricated buildings in Europe and beyond, faced numerous data-related challenges: data was dispersed across various systems, preventing a unified view of business operations. Basic analyses were no longer sufficient to support innovation and rapid growth; reporting needs were increasing without systematic data collection, and data issues were being resolved ad hoc without an appropriate methodology. In addition, there was a high dependency on individuals and a lack of effective knowledge management, which made it difficult for the company to fully leverage the potential of its data.

Solution: 

• Defined a 3‑year vision and roadmap for data and analytics.
• Prioritised use cases based on value and effort.
• Established a unified data model.
• Provided recommendations for data governance, processes, standards and roles.
• Delivered a BI MVP that automated key production reporting.
