ADD Conference 2026: Focus on Security, Data and Artificial Intelligence

On May 27, 2026, ADD successfully hosted its annual ADD Conference 2026, bringing together experts, partners, and representatives from companies across various industries. The event aimed to address the key challenges of today’s digital environment.

The conference opened with topics of information security and regulatory compliance. Together with guest speaker Matjaž Mravljak (Director of the Information Security Inspectorate at URSIV), we highlighted practical aspects of preparing for the ZInfV‑1 regulation and emphasized the importance of systematic risk management at the executive level.

This was followed by a presentation of a practical approach to achieving compliance, enabling organizations to effectively bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and real-world implementation. We introduced the ADD platform “Path to Compliance” as well as the GAP analysis methodology.

An important part of the program was also a panel discussion with partners HPE, Dell, VMware, Fortinet, and IBM, where we addressed the impact of artificial intelligence on the IT infrastructure market—from supply chains to pricing and solution development.

In the second part of the conference, the focus shifted to data and artificial intelligence as key drivers of modern business. We presented current trends in data platform development, the role of Microsoft Fabric, the KEPION planning tool, and practical AI use cases for optimizing business processes—from automating repetitive tasks to supporting complex decision-making.

Additional value was provided by a real-world case from REM d.o.o., where Jure Rajh demonstrated how data strategy and BI solutions are already delivering tangible business results in a manufacturing environment.

The conference concluded with a lecture by Dr. Dan Podjed, who provided a broader perspective on the impact of artificial intelligence on society, relationships, and ways of working, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a human-centered approach in a time of rapid technological advancement.

Once again, the ADD conference confirmed its role as a platform for sharing knowledge, experience, and best practices, as well as a meeting point for professionals shaping the digital future.
