ADD at FabCon Vienna 2025 – The largest European Microsoft Fabric conference
From 15 to 18 September, the ADD team attended the European Microsoft Fabric Community Conference (FabCon Europe 2025) at the Austria Center Vienna. FabCon is the largest European conference dedicated to Microsoft Fabric, bringing together leading experts, developers, data engineers, analysts, architects, and business users working with modern data solutions.
This year’s conference welcomed over 4,000 participants and offered more than 130 sessions, tutorials, and hands-on workshops across 12 thematic tracks. Attendees explored the latest features and roadmap of Microsoft Fabric, including:
- Power BI and advanced BI functionalities
- OneLake – a unified data lake for all data sources
- Data Warehousing and SQL in Fabric
- Real-Time Intelligence for live data analytics
- Azure Data Factory for orchestrating data pipelines
- Azure AI Foundry and integrating AI into data processes
- Data governance, compliance, and security capabilities
A strong focus was placed on practical sessions, such as “Ask the Experts”, where participants could engage directly with Microsoft product leaders, MVPs, and independent experts, and interactive demonstrations like “FabCon Racing”, showcasing the impact of real-time data on live performance.
